Maybe get some fake reviews first, see if that stimulates some sales that turn into a cult following.

He doesn’t “need” to do anything. His life, his choices, his consequences. Just watch how it goes.

As hippo said, people enjoy watching car crashes.

Registered under girl’s name and at address of tesla motors service center. Well, what else could I possibly expect.

Reminds me of Uwe Boll who deliberately creates bad movies with game licenses that even though they flop make him money because of a German tax loophole. But he’s still proud enough to stand up to critics - in the boxing ring!:

Do you want it to recognize one or to create one?

This makes sense to me. An insane security sales website and the like.

The thing that doesn’t make sense to me is that he really did replace a lot of the asset store stuff. He did spend the time to at least attempt to cobble together something that appeared at leas semi original.

He loved the buildings, those skyscrapers, I wonder if he actually hand modeled those? He may have also hand made the little weird sphere monster that you fight early on. This would explain why he features that stuff so prominently in the videos and screenshots. The dinosaurs clearly look better and cooler, but he gives the skyscrapers way more screen time.

It’s a scam and stuff, for sure, but the thing is - I think deep down he really wanted it to be fun. When the best review was “so bad it was good” - I believe he was sincerely disappointed.

Course he doesn’t need to do anything. Just if he expects to make money from it he might want to

Lol, this thread keeps getting and better. Feels cool watching the trolls. Too bad I have other work now…and have to leave the possibility to honour some people with attention, when they don’t deserve it off course.

By the way, I don’t mean you - the video…well looks funny from the snapshot :).

You know, I imagined Jim Sterling in a boxing ring. That could be interesting.

Sadly, this will get me banned from the Uk for a while :(. I have some things to say about Sterling and his island lol…

Anywayz, too lazy now to explain or care.

ThatNickguy started as a very genuine…or so I thought.

Then he started mentioning Jason Stateham’s youtube channel in every single post and for “some” reason he has his name in his steam’s description - even from his country. Call me paranoid but i refure to accept such kind of promoting, also known as: spam.

Just becauese he got away with a good first message doesn’t give him the right to sell…bikes  or simply promote someone’s youtube channel all the time when this wasn’t the topic.

I live in the UK too, why not tell me since I enjoy using xenforo features.

You just want the opportunity to use them a few more times before you’re stuck dealing with the Lithium features. :stuck_out_tongue:

oh well…the guy who knows how to use who.is.

Where have you been? Those type of “smart people” have been…well I’ve been missing them since years.

“Good job”, sherlock!

google “feed the trolls”. I’d leave it like that, for…well because i can.

I honestly don’t want lithium at all. Simple as that. If Unity can’t be open about researching alternatives, I have to question why they want it. They’re not open enough.

Don’t understand why it would lead to you being upset about “his” country. He doesn’t own it.

That’s why i wondered if he had played a video game before. Maybe the formula is supposed to be “decent gun models, decent environment (skyscrapers), player can shoot at things => decent shooter game”.

I also think there is a misconception about why people take exception to asset flips: I dont think it’s so much because someone actually bought (or downloaded free) assets to use in his game, but because his greenlight and early access prototype is supposed to indicate someone’s skill and talent as a developer. When it turns out that someone just took UnitZ then it’s obvious that he is neither willing nor able to keep working on the game, and with crappy early access games it’s often about promises and expectations (“i’ll make the game good, i promise; Just look what i’ve already achieved” [shows UnitZ]).
Kinda the Star Citizen principle, haha.

So you blamed Unity for your technical problems first and now you blame Steam for your low sales, you just can’t accept that your project is bad and that you are not ready to make a commercial project. Seriously, how old are you?

Also IIRC the NDA doesn’t stop you from discussing your sales, I’ve seen plenty of developers sharing their numbers, Hell I do it too from time to time.

is your game really that bad that an interview will get you banned from the UK, or his island as you like to call it?

What’s sad is that really is most of the formula. Tight controls and interesting enemies are really all he is missing.
