This is annoying when I want to drag the anchor close to the corners of the UI element. I was hoping for some hotkeys that would disable rotating the UI element, but I don’t know what the hotkeys are.
One of the temporary workarounds is to rotate the UI element, drag the anchors away, rotate the UI element back, and then do precise placements, which is what I’m doing. I know you can drag the anchors through the Inspector, but I would prefer dragging them and eyeball it when I can.
Hi, was thinking this just yesterday, used to just nudge mouse until cursor “somehow” changed to “correct one” - however there are two very easy solutions;
If using Rect selection tool start moving from inside of rect towards corner, first you see double arrow for resize, move further, you’ll see mouse “arrow” cursor, now click and drag to move anchor. If you still continue your projected path outwards, mouse cursor will turn into rotation cursor. So start mouse movement from inside rect and it’s easier.
If you are sloppy, just pick another tool than rect tool - and anchors are still visible (and editable), without other rect editing widgets
