how do you advertise your content?

I’ve just launched my online shop for Unity-ready skyboxes, and I’m wondering how other people who provide content for Unity do their advertisement?

How do you make sure people know about you? There’s a lot of content packs for Unity out there, but I don’t see any place where it’s collected or catalogued.

  • web directory submission
  • article submission
  • blog directory submission
  • Feed submission
  • forum posting (through signature)
  • press release submission
  • Social bookmarking in digg and deals.
  • online group posting
  • promotional ads
  • link exchange

Thanks. I was actually looking more for URLs or something like that, pointers to places where you get some exposure.

What in the world is a blog directory r a feed submission? Could you share a link or two, please? Online groups? You mean list Facebook etc? digg and deals? Promotional adds in Mags or online and how do these differ from link exchange or do you mean text links?

You say you have a list of places that sell Unity Content but there is no place that lists them, yeah? I would be willing to create a section on my site to offer some free publicity to these places, just as a fellow Unity user. Would you mind listing those places, please?

Oh, and of course, anyone reading this, if you sell Unity content and your site is not mentioned here, feel free to do so, yeah? :slight_smile:
