How good is the linux export for unity 4?

I am working on a simple pc game right now and would like it to work on linux. As of Unity 4(i know old news) it has a linux export. I wanted to know your experience with it? I played Rochard on a ubuntu 12.10 machine and it was great. But does it work with mulitple distribution or mainly ubuntu based ones? Besides setting the binary to be executable, are there any other gotchas?

Thanks

Here are some experiences with it: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/148540-Unity-4-Linux-Games!

Please note that the engine was already updated twice since its first version and it gave a heavy performance increase (at least in my case). So I would trust on Unity fixing any bugs and gotchas that may come up

It works on other distrubutions as well, not sure in which scales and the porting effort (Zero on Debian and Mint afaik).
