If i use free assets in my game, i can make money with that game?

If i use free assets in my game, i can make money with that game? And if i make money, i should pay the owner of the free assets ?

That depends on the license of the asset. If it’s from the Asset Store though, you should be fine unless it’s a restricted asset like Unity-chan.

Thank you for reply. How i know that is restricted. In description not have nothing about license.
Theses are the assest that i wanna use:

https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/props/interior/christmas-gifts-52190
https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/characters/cute-male-3-18090
https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/environments/simple-houses-lite-78201

None of those are restricted assets, so you’re fine.

Thank you bro. God bless you.

Excuse me, my man. But you dont say how i see the assets license. Have many assets that i wanna use and i dont know when the assets license stay. Sorry for ask again .

If otherwise not stated in the details you have this EULA: https://unity3d.com/legal/as_terms If the asset has special license it’s mandatory to have a link in the description to the license.

“Free” doesn’t necessarily mean ‘commercial use’ friendly, so it’s always advised to check the given license first. It may come with the package.

Generally said, assets from the Asset Store can be used for commercial projects - unless otherwise stated (see the Adam Character packs for an example). If in doubt, ask the developer of the asset in question.

No actual need to ask the developer. If they haven’t made it a restricted asset and included a separate license, then they are bound by the asset store EULA.
