Installing Unity iPhone on G5 Power Mac

Hi,

I am trying to install Unity iPhone on a G5 Power Mac, This obviously uses a powerpc processor, I was able to install normal Unity but the iPhone version is apparently not compatible? Does the iPhone version not work on power pc processors?

iPhone development is not supported at all on PPC.

You need an X86 based OSX 10.6.2 system to even use the iPhone SDK

Also Unity 3 doesn’t support PPC authoring for anything, so now’s the time to get a new Mac. (Like I’ll be doing as soon as the new Mac Pros hit Amazon…)

Ah right ok, I have a MacBook Pro it’s just my employer has an old G5 that he wanted to know what would work on it and I just wanted to make sure…
