Lonath Online, finished MMORPG game for sale.

Hello,
Check www.lonath.com for detailed information.

Sincerely,
Eren Aydın

Hi Eren,
How are you doing?

Remember us, your previous MMO customer…

Some clarifications about your project:

  1. Database? Do you expect people not to use a database for an MMO?
Your competitors, Zerano’s and Fury Framework is very easy to use with server+database+multi-player.

  2. Do you expect people not to have Mage, Warrior, Healer and Ranger classes and various races?
Do you expect to make an MMO without such classes and races? Are you joking people calling it an “MMO”?

  3. How’s your contract doing? Are you going to give others just source-codes and no contract, then use back the existing sources and sell to others?

  4. The smell test. Are you going to get this MMO declined from the asset store again?

  5. The older MMO we got from you had no XP-bar and hard-wired NPCs dialogs and almost all in Javascript. The accountant here gave you some suggested enhancements, you later ignored all of it and didn’t bother to reply. Do you have a C# translation, or is this one of the AS-IS sales? If it is an AS-IS sale, then we have a right to warn buyers this is just all UnityScript (JS) as is the last sale.

  6. As a previous buyer, the answer is resounding no. We do not recommend from buying this product, you get exactly what you see on the video, the whole landscape is empty after that, the AI is dummy, nothing more, nothing less. All the models are 3rd party (mostly TurboSquid and other people’s stuff from the Unity store), the shaders are assets purchased from the store.

And remember: this is an AS-IS sale, buyer beware, Seller will not bother to reply back to you for coding problems, even if problems occur.

We do recommend these projects which are good projects, multi-player and MMO style:
Advanced Multi-Player Framework. The person doing this is also a coder for Legends of Etherell.
http://zerano-unity3d.com/wp/

This is very good, uses the BEST AI framework (A* Pathfinding), best coding practices and very clean codes.
Notice similarities between (expensive MMO) and Fury Framework.

Fano Linux’s Zombie Kit:

Very easy to adapt to a shooting MMO style game.

Again, nothing personal. Good luck with your MMO project.

When selling the MMO, do you also give the assets to the customer? (Graphics, UI, etc).

Thank you, fine.
Actually I agree with you %60
But I want to add something;

  • Sure game has a database but not sql-like thing. May not be good, but have a one (like on Kara Destan you bought)
  • I mean supporting many players with “MMO”

I bothered with “then use back the existing sources and sell to others?”
This is looking like a blame. I didn’t take anything from Kara Destan.
Maybe you are talking about Ratspell v2. It’s is my mmo base. I’m using on my games. and takes %3-5 of the game…
I made LO from zero on Ratspell v2 and takes 7 months.
Never sent to the store.

I remeber KD and have an xp bar.

But others you said at 5, you right.

Just an information, I have to mean because I think I’m about to fall into a liar state
I’m working for a game studio, this is my indie project.
If you want to buy, you buy…

Optional, if they wants I give a asset account and license files. Price may change under the influence of this.
But it may be a problem in next days, I don’t know about rules giving store account and licenses.
If there will be a problem, I pay back of the products count.
Example: payed back to eskimojoe 300$ because I don’t find the license files of some products and not bought with my account.

Hello there.

May I draw your attention to the Asset Store EULA:

You are not allowed to include other assets you obtained from the store in an asset you are selling. Even if you reduce the price to compensate.

Hope this is clear,
Tenebrous.

Tenebrous is right, you cannot re-sell assets you obtained from the Asset Store, unless they are embedded content in a build, such as an executable or a webplayer, unless the asset is explicitly identified as Creative Commons Attribution-Only or Public Domain.

You’re in violation of the Asset Store EULA and are putting yourself at legal risk… you could potentially be sued by the creator of the Asset, by anyone who unknowingly purchases and uses your project… and potentially us, too! The creators of these assets are legally within their rights to send you a takedown request, so you’re already at risk. You must cease selling the project with these assets and instead replace them with original or CCAO/PD content.

Cheers
Caitlyn
