Project Rainbow

So this is a project I’m working on over the next month before I go back to university, intending on releasing as an iPhone game once its finished.

PLAY GAME HERE—> http://www.joehart.co.uk/rainbow/

Project Rainbow:
You play The Pixel and it’s your job to bring colour back to the world. Go through levels colouring everything in to pass the level.

Gameplay:

I’m still coming up with this as I go, the plan is for a fast paced platformer where it feels like you’re racing round the track. I’m going to add in a time and factor that into the “rating” of each level you complete.

So far its just a form of proof of concept of rippling colour and basic jump boxes.

Things to include later:
Boxes that can only be coloured by ripples
Moving platforms
Moving physics objects to spread colour to far away things
Black Holes to suck all your colour out and kill you
Beginning of level zooms out to show scope then zooms in to start
Camera Zooms out on completion to see coloured level
A better name…
and more…

Here is where the latest version will always be: http://www.joehart.co.uk/rainbow/

I’d appreciate any feedback or comments! This is my first game using Unity and I’m still learning. Hopefully I’ll be adding daily updates about it.

Updates:
Added a better looking background.
Added jump animation.
Added touch controls(unavailable on web version)
