I’ve been brainstorming ways to promote iPhone games, and got a bit of inspiration from the Namco games site that Time Crisis links to.
Essentially I would build a site that would shadow the app store, showing the games offered by people that put links to the site in their game.
This would allow us to wrest a bit visibility from apple, and define our own rating algorithms.
Would any of you be interested in participating in something like this?

Many sites offer an opportunity to promote your game.
I’ve seen those…what I am proposing is something that links directly to an app-store like list of games from within the phone. Not really a review site, more of a meta-app store that lists the games of the people participating.
Sort of a catalog of games submitted by the developer that would have it’s own for of rating system?
Correct. Something that would give new games more weight than the app store does, so that new games have a chance to get seen. It would have a much smaller list of apps to deal with, so more things would be possible.
