Randomizing objects? Custom buttons/gui?

Good evening, everyone

I am curious how to code something. It is a little tough to describe so let me explain…

basically, there are multiple pictures/sprites spread around. A player taps the right one and then a new set comes up. How do I get the sprite placement to be randomized each time? (also how do I get it so it the game/pictures continue when the right one is touched?)

Lastly, how do I use custom buttons for my main menu/GUI? I don’t really want to use the ones that Unity can create but rather use ones I made myself in photoshop. I how to do it sort of in web design but completely oblivious to game coding. Thanks, everyone!

You can use Random.Range() to compute a random number. Use this to compute positions for your sprites.

The GUITexture game object can be used to display textures you create. Alternatively, the GUI.Button() function can be given a texture.

Thanks again! You are a huge help!
