hi, just got this and i am enjoying it so far. i was wondering if your planning any tutorials about adding our own affects to it. i have some other full screen effects that i would love to be able to pull from. i was even looking at your other filter asset and wondering this. Anyways looking forward to tutorials and updates, weldone on a fine asset.
Also the turning on and off effects has me alittle confused at the moment and wondered if you have any tips for that.
We couldn’t release a tutorial for adding other full screen effects because Camera Play use it’s own shader. All the shader effects need to be rewrited
You can test the On - Off on the demo scene.
Turning On Off actualy add and remove the effect, it’s used for particular effect such as the night vision. You can active the night vision by turning On the effect, and desactive the night vision by turning Off the effect.
If you need a particular special effects, we can add it in our next release.
Any effect idea is great for us (and for you)
What is the difference between Camera Filter Pack and Camera Play?
Camera Play and Camera Filter Pack look the same but it’s two different things.
With Camera Play, you call the Camera FX directly by script, it mean’s that you don’t need to add the component to the gameobject.
It’s a time saver if you want to add Special FX on your game.
Camera Filter Pack need to be add manually to the gameobject.
Camera Play is more complex than Camera Filter Pack because we must rewrite all the effects to behave for a script call. For example, some effects from Camera Filter pack won’t work with this kind of call. For the moment, they are more than 35 effects. We have schedule a new version with new effects anytime sooner.
Camera Play is a time saver to add FX on your camera. Camera Filter Pack have a lot a effects but, if you want to call the FX by script, you need to do it yourself.
That helps more than myself I’m sure. On that note I think that’s enough to make me want to see more of it so I will have to pick this up while the sales on which it’s hard to pass up. It’s the only one of your assets I don’t have You guys make some cool tools for sure.
Unfortunately does not works with URP and the developer disappeared and does not respond for months. The last update is from March 2018, almost 2 years ago.
