Hey there! Two quick notes …

One, the link to “Pursuit of the Death” doesn’t seem to go anywhere. The link above and the one in the asset store don’t work.

Two, I really like the music, in that it sounds like most of it could be suitable background for bad guys. Almost all of the music in the store is written with heroic themes. This has a darker edge, which means it can be played both for heroes who are facing a desperate moment, and also for bad guys who are by themselves in a cutscene. Which is important!

Thank you for the good review!
Yes, unfortunately “Pursuit of the Death” is still pending review. But this track would be free one.

Pursuit of the Death is in the store now.

Having given the whole track a listen, I’d offer this thought: maybe some parts of this and the other tracks can be separated out to provide smaller bits of music …?

Since I don’t own the full set yet, I can only comment on “Pursuit.” But listening to it I thought there was a break in the music around 0:55, and that it might be nice to have that first part of the track available on its own. It has a distinct sound, like a suspenseful setup, and I can see using it that way. The second theme of the track has more of a “chase” vibe, which seems to end around 2:22, and then that’s when a third theme comes in. The third theme feels kind of like, “I’ve escaped … for now.” Maybe all of these themes could be supplied separately, in addition to the whole piece. It would give the game dev a way to stretch the music out a bit, by playing one theme, and then another a little later, and so on, in line with actual game events of setup, being hunted, and having escaped, without needing to queue up and play the whole piece.

Events in a game can move quickly - like a cutscene - and there’s not always time to play a whole 3 minute piece of music.

Possibly one or more of these fragments might even loop. It’s good to have some looping music, and I can see this being handy in particular with the 3rd part of Pursuit.

Anyway, that’s what I think would help devs use this music better in their games. Good luck!
