The Company and the Mission
We are an Indie game development studio called “Obsidian Claymore” and are launching our first title hopefully within the year. Our company is a private company with no plans to sell, giving us the creative freedom to make the games we want, when we want, and how we want to make them without major corporate oversight. Our long term goal are high, to become the next valve, and are looking to recruit new members to join the team and help drive the company to success.

Progress
I am unable to provide examples of the game at this time.

  • Current number of team members - 12
  • Our game is almost finished, we mainly just have a few things to do with VFX and SFX.

Contact

Hey Joshua, hope you’re doing well. My name is Subhan — I previously worked with Obsidian Claymore last year for a period of time during college.

At the time, I was overloaded with coursework and wasn’t able to fully commit the level of consistency the project needed. Since then, I’ve significantly improved my Unity workflow and have been heavily focused on game development, gameplay systems, polishing projects, and collaborating on Unity work as I finish up the semester.

I saw the VFX/Unity post and wanted to reach back out because I’m now in a much stronger position to contribute consistently. I have experience with Unity/C#, gameplay systems, UI, combat mechanics, debugging, and integrating game features into larger projects. I’ve also recently been actively interviewing and collaborating on Unity projects again.

I’d love the opportunity to reconnect and see if there’s a role where I could help the team as the project approaches completion.

I can also share gameplay footage/projects if needed.

Thanks for your time.
