For promotion’s sake. Most obscure horror/adventure game made with Unity out there. Has abstract scenes and complex plot. Not recommended for fans of “guyz i made a gaem with screamerz” and slender-type clones.
Description:
Sacred Line is a free first person dark adventure/surreal thriller with story-driven explorative physics-based gameplay, black-white-red silent movie/BD style and multistructural abstract non-cliche plot. It takes its place in a fully developed universe where your main enemy is a union of third-world countries which is trying to set totalitarian regime over the whole planet polluting and destroying everything around them. In this game you will face their leader which was summoned by the ancient sect, dealing with unknown sources of power and paranormal activity.
This game has two endings, normal and secret.
You are playing Ellen, a private detective, who is trying to survive in Eastern Europe. Lately detective business, which she inherited from her missing sister Sarah, almost ceased its existence and one day before she was going to close her office she got an anonymous call. The unknown asked her to find some hidden forest outpost and told her about its position. That was just the beginning.

You spent like 10 seconds to write this question but instead you could quickly look at IndieDB page link and see that developer’s name is identical to my username, it would take about 5-7 seconds and would answer your question.
Amazing game I have to say. I actually saw this on indiedb a few months ago, and then I saw the youtube video of someone’s playthrough. I didn’t thought much of it at first, but somehow this game seep through my subconcious and I keep remembering it - or trying to remember and I have been trying to find it for the past month - all I remember was the game was set in some kind of underground lab…and its got a weird surreal David Lynch-like sequence at the end…and for whatever the reason when I google I just couldn’t find it. I even tried to go through the whole list of indiedb Unity indie games to try to find to no avail. And it keeps bugging me for the whole month until today, for some reason when I google “surreal game” in Youtube, I finally found it at page 3.
Now I can finally put my mind to rest. I have to say, there are only very few games that has such effect on me. Either that or I am just OCD.
PS. Just one question - did you compose the music yourself?
Thanks, just found your reply accidentally via Google.
I’m always thinking to remake this game and finish the story, because it has a lot of potential. However, I’m not so exciting about doing games anymore (especially considering overall ignoring of the game) and it needs hell of a lot technical stuff like motion capture animations, far more serious scripts, decent specific models and voice acting - stuff which I can’t provide alone.
About question - yes, it’s stated in the credits. Everything, except the track which you hear in the Desert location - it was made by some woman I know personally and it wasn’t recorded specifically for the game.
