Hope you like it!
Please, give your sincere opinion about this game. As it was my first iPhone game, and I’ve done it in 3 months, there are some ideas I still want to keep working on, nd I’m open to your point of view.
I’ve been using this system for an animation project here in Brazil, this animation will be projected in an 360 dome, and we are only 3 guys to do an 30 min movie, from the concept to post production, in 8 months… so we are trying to use all possible resources to accomplish the impossible.
I really got impressed with this system, it’s very precise ( You should avoid at all costs getting near metal or any magnetic source ). We had access to it in INT (National Technological institute, here in Rio de janeiro, Brazil)
There’s noise specially when you’re sited, or both feet on air ( like jumping) , because it defines your vertical position based in the lower part of your body ( in fact I’m not sure if it’s exactly the lower part or always the feet ).
We just finished all Mocap, and I was even used as one of the actors Lol.
For my point of view, it’s very efficient, specially because you’re free to move, because it’s not optical, it gets your local “bone” rotations. It also does an estimation of translation based on your movement ( that’s something crazy, at the beginning I’ve become really impressed with this).
Have you ever used the optical system? I really wanted to know what people think of it ( I know it’s the most used system everywhere, but we didn’t have access to this one here ).
Ps: I’ve seen “Dinner with Attila” now, really nice =) I’ve noticed you used Mocap in that one, isn’t it?
And about hand recognition, how do you work?
Here I am again!
This time to show you guys my new site section: The Making Off!
Here I’ll post all the process of making Shaolin Training. Beginning, I’ll show you some screens of the 3d modelling and animation process in Blender3d,
The only problem with this program is that it only capture at Max 60 Sec. I’m not sure if it only happens if you don’t pay anything, but I do think it’s because it only compress the captured file at the end of the capture process, this way it can be more efficient, but the bad part is that it consumes too much ram, so it can’t capture too longer without crashing.
