SpiritusAstrum: A new space-exploration survival crafting adventure by PhoenixGameDevelopment!

Hello,

I have been working on my game SpiritusAstrum for some time now, and I am finally ready to release a short technical demo to the public.

I have 12 steam keys available, and I am interested to know if there is anyone here that would like to try out the demo?

I suppose the easiest way of doing this is that anyone who wants to try the demo can reply, and I can PM them a steam key?

I hope that’s acceptable to the mods/admins here.

This is an early demo, so the artwork is still quite basic, and there could bugs, etc. The game also needs quite a lot of polish.

I am mainly interested in finding out if there are any major bugs that would prevent players from advancing (Or even worse, that would cause the game to crash).

The documentation is here:
http://phoenixgamedevelopment.com/SpiritusAstrum/spiritusastrum%20documentation%20vs.B8v.1.0.pdf

To enable the console and display overlays:
Press Escape, then Main, Then Click “Console” and “Display”.

Quickstart:
Click “Avatar”.
Enter an avatar name, and select a model/skin tone.
Click “Create”;
Click “Character”.
Chose the desired options, or select “Randomise”.
Click “Save”
Click “Start” at the top, and then “Start” again.

The demo runs in windowed mode.

Make sure to quit the game using the “save and quit” option, otherwise the server won’t save and shut down properly.

The demo is a release build, but if bugs are found, etc, I can rebuild it as a debug build and upload that to steam to make debugging easier.

The demo is maybe 2 hours long, depending on the player, and there is the option to continue playing past the end of the demo, to just explore and experience the world.

My steam page is here:

My own blog with extensive posts and updates on the project, is here:

A brief sample video, and and some images:

Again, this is an early technical demo, the art is not final, there could be bugs and issues, etc.

Thanks a lot for your attention!

The Spiritus Astrum Alpha Demo is live on steam now!
