Progress so far

When the helicopter lifts off you might want to smooth or lerp the upward velocity over time. Watching videos of real helicopters lifting off should give you some ideas.

I guess it really depends on what style of controller you are aiming for - purely arcade-like or one with some physical characteristics. Obviously a full on physics simulation is a huge amount of work.

Thanks for the feedback brother, really appreciate it…

I Just bought this Heli Controller as the current one I had stopped working in Unity 2020.1

This controller does not seem to work either in Unity 2020.1 and have no idea why. Nothing happens when I run a supplied test level and I am trying to discover why? with no liuck thus far.

Unity Input issues I guess but have no console error messages or such like to give any indication ofr feedback as to where the issue lies. Effectively most keybord “keys” do nothing. e.g. Ignition key does not start or stop ignition movement keys do nothing and the Helicopter is always deactivated no matter what

Any help or advice would be appreaciated.

Thanks

Peter

Hello sir ,
I just got your message and I have imported this asset into unity 2020.1

I’ll give you feedback shortly

I have installed this in unity2020.1.3 and unity3d 2020.1.7f1

All controls seems to be fine

Did you open the test scenes?

Open the combatAi test scenes and TestScene02.

Hello,

Yes Opened all test scenes. Cant get any action at all. e.g. no rotor blade movement, No Lift or Movement keys are working at all for some reason so the Heli is effectively “dead”

Thanks for you quick reply which is much appreaciated.

I will keep trying to track the issue down.

Thanks for your help.

Peter
