Hey guys, I’m making a mobile game, and I’m finding it rather annoying to keep having my phone plugged in using Unity Remote, especially as I have a dodgy cable and it’s a pain in the backside.
I’ve read some documentation about the Input debugger, but when I activate simulate touches, when I press play, everything in that window disappears and it says “No devices found”, and no touch is simulated with my mouse.
I’ve also loaded the MonoBehaivour, that also doesn’t work. any ideas how to get around this?
EDIT 2: As seen Here It says Logitech under unsupported. I am using a Logitech G pro Wireless, any ideas why it may be unsupported? or any work arounds?
I can’t help you with the above software… early on in my Unity career I just avoided it all with my MicroTouch class that integrates mouse and touch and makes it just work in both editor and PC.
You could even trivially hack it to fake-out multi-touch with keys or something… I’ve done it a few times but never saved the code, since it’s always semi-hacky when I did it. (as if my actual code isn’t also semi-hacky… hm… honestly I’m surprised I didn’t just make a single static array of touches and a count… )
