Unity .anim file format

Hello,

I would like to know if anybody can tell me where i can find the file format of unity .anim files (for use with mecanim humanoid) ? I’m creating a software to export animations for unity. Maybe unity team can help me with that and give me the specs ?

You can open the .anim files in a text editor. It’s formatted well enough to read and figure out. Shouldn’t be too hard.
