As a complete beginner, I recently began to do the Unity Essentials. While I completed the first tutorials in the Programming Essentials, I was stuck at the 3 exercises step, because right at the Easy exercise (adding a jump function to the player), the tutorial asks me to add a line of code in the Update () section in Microsoft Visual Studio, but this section is simply not there ! I only have a FixedUpdate section below the Start section but it seems different, related to the tutorial video, in which the Update section is clearly there. I tried to add this Update section myself but it didn’t work.
So how can I solve this ?
I hope I made it clear enough, not being a native speaker myself.
