What is reason Unity doesn’t work with unpatched version of Visual Studio in Windows 8.1, while it does in older Windows.
Edit: Turns out it was patched in older 
Are you on a slower internet connection maybe?
if not, download the latest Unity3D version.
Installer… installed Visual Studio for me, and made it the default Debugger.
