where to find out if an asset can be used commercially ?

hi, i found a asset i want to use for my game, but i can’t see licensing information or anything on the page? where can i find those out to know if i can sell the game with the assets or not?

Is it on the asset store or somewhere else? If it’s on the asset store then by default you can use them commercially. If it’s somewhere else you may have to contact the asset producer directly and ask.

All assets on the Unity Asset Store are covered by the Asset Strore Terms of Service, which includes licensing provisions. See Appendix 1 Section 2 “END-USER’s Rights and Obligations”. I don’t believe I’ve seen any of the “Restricted Assets” they also mention in that section.

Yep - Unity Chan and there was one other I came across about 2 years ago, though I can’t remember now which one it was. I don’t believe it was an art asset.
