I’ve looked at the Macrovision line of installers for packaging our Unity standalone and InstallAnywhere looked pretty good (apart form the pricetag).
I also found a demo of making install PKG files Mac, which seemed pretty good.
What are you guys using to install Unity for standalone distros?
DropDMG is a great OSX dmg maker. Highly recommend it.
Agreed. You wouldn’t want to make an installer–drag’n’drop using a disk image is usually the way to go. At least on OS X.

Both look like great solutions -thanks.
The price is much better than InstallShield too ![]()
This may also help: http://www.ploem.be/blog/?page_id=26. And you can make workflows with automator that create .dmgs, however I don’t think there is a way (at least an easy one) to create those custom images, with the background image and the icons in certain positions.
