I think I’m going to publish this question every year until Unity improves it’s sales UX:
The question is about current 20$ sale.
When does it end?

Thank you! I see it.
Waiting for updated asset store. ![]()
Can I use the opportunity and suggest another UX feature?!
What:
To have possibility to mark an asset as unwanted.
Probably not completely ignored, but rather some mark (icon, different text, overlay) that will show you already reviewed it and you are not interested in it.
Why:
As a developer that works with Unity for many years and been hoarding assets for potential games I would like to work on I frequently encounter assets that look interesting but make additional review to double check myself.
E.g. a VFX asset that looks interesting but it doesn’t work in URP.
E.g. an overall interesting asset that works in URP but doesn’t work in VR and it states somewhere in the asset description.
E.g. I have a bunch of assets on Leartes Cosmos that double in Asset Store. I don’t really want to waste money on duplicates. So I’m double checking it each time. Similar with some other authors like Hivemind and Fab.
During sales tedium gets especially noticeable since you have limited amount of time to review hundreds of assets.
At some point I started adding assets I don’t want to a list in txt file. It helps but it’s not the most convenient solution.
Similar feature on other platforms:
Steam has “Ignore” button that adds a checkbox and marks and allows marked games to be excluded from search results.
Personally I would prefer ignored assets to be present in search results but noticeably marked/highlighted.
Thanks, it was forwarded to the relevant team for assessment.
