A couple of absolute beginner questions

Sorry, complete beginner here with a couple of (related?) questions.

So, I’ve started off by purchasing a collection of modular prefab assets. There are some modular walls you can put together to build the interior walls of a house.

First question, how do you typically “snap” these modular pieces together so that the walls fit together seamlessly? For now, I’ve been doing everything manually. That is, I lay a wall piece down, duplicate it, and use the Move Tool to line the wall pieces up together. I always end up with some overlap between the sections of the wall. Is this just to be expected, or, is there a smarter way to “snap” things in place?

Also, my console is telling me that I have 95 objects with overlapping UV’s. What is this? Is this bad? If so, what would be the solution? I suspect this is related to my 1st question, but, not sure…

Thanks!

For example:

Then you can use the ProGrid which is available in the ProBuilder package in the PackageManager if I’m not mistaken.
And you can use some third-party solution, which is superior like Octave3D which is an awesome asset.

And finally

It’s coming from the lightmap building, usually these can be ignored unless after lightmap building you’re experiencing artifacts. I’m not really qualified in the lightmap territory though, so maybe someone will clear it up if I’m mistaken.
