A simple way to disable off mesh links for some agents?

I’m working on a game where I need the players to be able to use off mesh links (ladders), but the enemies cannot. Is there a simple way to do this? I unchecked the “auto use off mesh links” on the enemies as a test, but it seems they still navigate to them, they just freeze in place forever once they reach it instead.

Seems like the area mask on the agents is what I should be looking into!
