My android game requires multiple permissions from user, which I need to ask at start. After upgrading to Unity 2018.3.x, I found there is an inbuilt Unity calls to ask permissions.
But I am not sure how to ask for Multiple permissions, (asking next permission after user Allow / Deny current permission). There is no callback I found in the documentation.
I think you have to add your request for permissions to the Android manifest file.
Then the OS should ask, and let the user decide to allow, or deny them to your app.
From there it´s up to the app to check if it has all the inputs it needs, and adapt, or tell the user why the permissions has to be on.
Hi @arfish , thanks for the reply. I have all the permissions in the manifest. If I comment the first permission asking code, it will ask for next. I want to ask permissions back to back, one after another, after user Allow/ Deny the permission. There should be a callback for these events.
Hi, Well yes. Its a tricky though. I am assuming that the game go out of focus every time a permission is asked. So I am using OnApplicationFocus to increment index of permission asking.
Also if user have selected Do now again, I have handled that by waiting for 1 second. If the permission is not shown (the game didn’t went out of focus), I assume the user clicked on ‘Dont show again’ and asking next permission.
