BHB - DX11 Contest Entry

Well it took me long enough to post but here’s my entry for the DX11 contest. BHB is a 2.5d action platformer game I’ve been working on for a little while. It’s still in its early stages and while I had to rush certain things to make the deadline (as I’m sure most of us did), I’m fairly happy with how things turned out. This is also my first time showing the game in public. My entry consisted of two parts: one part was a gameplay build, and the other was a close-up showcase/turntable type scene of the main character. Overall it was a great competition and I had a fun time getting everything into a showable version.

Thanks! Yes, the main DX11 features I used were DX11 Depth of Field and DX11 Noise and Grain (the grain isn’t as noticeable in the pictures as it is while actually playing though). I haven’t uploaded a video yet but I will soon.

Not bad, some tesselation on the orange and black pipe system thing would make that look super awesome, butoverall not bad looking.
