Upgraded to 2022.3.11+ recently and Shader Graphs are completely unusable. Makes a bunch of assets and packages impossible to use and forcing me to downgrade version and transfer my project to it, hopefully without breaking everything in the process.
Edit: Upon downgrading, SG still doesn’t work.
Hi @MaxwellFury ,
did you try:
- re-importing shader graph assets
- re-importing everything
- deleting the Library folder and open the project again
If this persists, can you please report this as a bug (Main Menu/Help/Report a Bug…), providing as much details as possible (version you’re upgrading from, operating system, target platform), and share the Bug Report # here then?
Thank you.
Yup, did all that. I even did a clean reinstall of Unity. I shall send that report and write here.

Reporting the issue first linked to my thread, then crashed Unity.
Did the report go through? Do you have a bug report number?
Like I said, it crashed, so no. It still crashes when I try.
Crashed so bad that the Bug Report dialog doesn’t even show up?
If so, can you please isolate and share some of the graphs that make it crash?
You can send them to me in a private message if you prefer.
Thanks!
(I’m sorry, I missed that notif.) The bug dialog shows, but I cannot use it since Unity crashed. I’ve made a new Built-in project which I’m transferring assets. I’ll use its current small size to send a report. It may work better and help with the Shader Graph issue.
Fixed - Not a bug. Fred helped a lot, thanks!
