Bussines Model and terms and conditions of the Unity’s license PRO

I will be very useful if you can help me solving me a question. Is there any possibilities to build a precompiled application, where my customers could change the video game’s image (graphic assets), where the mechanic and programming is already compiled

The tool that I expect to build, will function in run time, is not an extension of the unity’s editor. In compliance with terms and conditions of the Unity’s license PRO, is possible to distribute this application and that my customers (advertising agencies) give me an amount of money for each game that they create with my application? There is any problem with the terms and conditions? The applications will be small games with web camera in order to use it in BTL Advertising.

I don’t think there’s any problem. I don’t remember any restrictions being applied to any applications made with Unity.

Best to ask directly than on the forum for something like this.

Just a quick read-through, no lawyer etc - but I see nothing that would prevent you from making your game mod-able or even build an entirely new game engine on top of a Unity exe/webplayer etc. Nor would one have to be a PRO user for this.

Load external files and allow the users to change those. Pretty sure it’s possible.

It’s fine. I once asked Unity about whether it’d be okay to create an entire game development platform using Unity as the underlying provider of graphics etc, and they said it’s fine so long as you’re not directly ripping off/duplicating Unity’s interface. They also said Unity is designed to be used for multimedia applications and they expect people to create those kind of applications with it. So long as you don’t like provide the full Unity API and pass it off as your own.

Thanks all of you for the commitment with the Forum. So useful your help, and now I know that 90% sure there is no problem with the kind of platform I want to do… Best Regards!

100% SURE it’s possible.
