I'm creating a car racing game, and I want to know - can I use real cars in my game? (Is this legal?)

You are going to battle to get companies permission to use their cars in game.
I wanted to use a single photograph for a menu in my game, and it had to go through RAM trucks, then Chrysler then 3 or 4 other parties then an advertising agency. Eventually I just gave up.

Your game would most likely have to be on a AAA budget too if you wanted permission from the car companies.

My suggestion is make your own cars. You can even model your cars similar to the real world cars out there, just don’t put any names or logos on them.

No, that would not be legal. Using “real” cars is possible only if you have their companies’ permission.
