did you leave unity application running during the install ?
don’t do that - if you chose default install location the installer started overwriting existing files / of running application / - i’m not sure that can be good
Hmm, good point. I tried again, this time making sure. I don’t think I had Unity open first time around, and I definitely didn’t second time. Same error.
how come the installer didnt want you to choose components to dl / install and instead started downloading ios support immediately ?
did you cut the video , or have you previously downloaded the rest of the the installation ?
if you install to default location try to delete the unity.app first and try to download and install everything from the installer in one go
I only just found that the iOS parts were available in the installer itself. Didn’t need iOS when I started my original install, and forgot it was there (as part of original installer).
Went and installed 5.5.2f1, and included iOS as well this time, worked just fine! yay.
