car script / powering wheel colliders

hey guys,

I was wondering, does anybody have or know of a really good car script that can be used in unity, or do they have an example of how to power wheel colliders and make a car script, because i’m not really good with the whole scripting thing, and i was wondering how to make a car with nice handling and manoeuvreing abilities…

i tried the unity car tutorial, but i couldn’t get it to work with my own models, besides, i’m not to fond of the way it doesn’t completely stop, but anyway.

all answers are greatly apprecieated

The car script in the Car Tutorial is easy to use and sufficient for an arcade racer. Start with that, it may not do everything, but it is simple enough to help you get answers to the above. It even does skid marks :smiling_face:.

thanks, i did try the unity car tutorial before, but i couldnt get it to work with my own models.... :/ do you perhaps know any starting reason why i wouldn't be getting this to work....?
