College course seeking examples of Unity environments designed as art pieces

Hey all,

The title’s pretty self-explanatory, I’m an AI for a college-level fine arts course in 3D environmental design. We’ve been working in Maya thus far in the semester but are making the first tentative jumps to Unity next week. As we move forward I’d love to have examples of what Unity is capable of as an artistic medium. In previous semesters we’ve used Virtools and don’t have any Unity exemplars to show and some web searching hasn’t turned up much.

I would show the artist’s work at the beginning of class, give credit by name and provide a link to their portfolio or website if provided. Navigable environments are preferable to screenshots, but either are fine. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Well, this wasn’t designed as an art peice, but AEON looks pretty darn nice.

Then there’s Michael O’s stuff (a lot of his stuff has demos that are available via the Youtube Descriptions or Asset Store):

Those are outstanding, thanks a lot!

Hi there!
This may be of interest to you as its a unity project designed as an art piece.
Of course not interactive on youtube, but ive made it for the ipad as an interactive animation; and have performed it to live electronic music at Coventry and Liecester university. (it was also performed in Australia, but was cheaper to get someone else to do it!).

Please show at your university if you think its appropriate
