Hey guys,
I’ve been messing around with visual scripting and unfortunately ran into a problem that I just can’t wrap my head around, even though I’m assuming I’m missing something incredibly small.
I only have a scene with two cubes in at the moment, one being the player with basic movement. Upon hitting the second cube, I would like it to stick to the player upon collision.
I’ve spent some time messing with different nodes, and I’ve landed at creating the fixed joint component upon colliding, but the cube ends up being stuck in place due to not having a connected body.
No matter what nodes I use, I can’t seem to set a connected body upon collision. I’ll post the nodes I’m currently working with, but if anybody could point me in the right direction or explain how I could go about this, that would be great!
I apologise if the nodes I’m posting look a bit bare - I’ve tried so many different nodes that my head is fried and chopped and changed a few nodes in the process of trying to get things to work! (the trigger exit can be ignored)
Any help would be hugely appreciated and save me this headache!
