Hello!
I’m currently working on debugging some issues for our release candidate Android project built in Unity v6000.0.58f2 and am seeing a crash related to the UI clean-up step. We are using the Google Crashlytics service and are seeing some crashes that look like this:
Fatal Exception: java.lang.Exception: ArgumentOutOfRangeException : Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index
at System.Collections.Generic.List`1[T].get_Item(System.Collections.Generic.List`1[T])
at UnityEngine.UI.CanvasUpdateRegistry.CleanInvalidItems(UnityEngine.UI.CanvasUpdateRegistry)
at UnityEngine.UI.CanvasUpdateRegistry.PerformUpdate(UnityEngine.UI.CanvasUpdateRegistry)
It seems like this error is being thrown from within Unity during the clean-up step. We currently have some issues where devices will run out of memory and crash and was thinking that this error could be related to that. Does that seem like it could be the case or is there any known issue with this code that can be circumvented with some extra checks/catch blocks?
Appreciate any insight that can be provided!
