Do you have a Website for your company or game?

Hi,

Without having to go through thousands of posts would any of you guys be kind enough to share your website for either your game or indie company.

I am currently trying to find a web designer for myself and would basically like to see some work and also hear of any recommendations you guys have.

Thanks

my website:

I bought a wordpress skin. (paid skin are most of the time better than free one).
And I customized it. I don’t think you really need more, if you’re not a big corporate.

That is a very nice site you have there!

I did see some nice templates on GraphicRiver so I will have another look and make some customizations to just fit my needs. It will save me a fortune too

If you’re actually looking for someone to build you a website, you should post in the Collaboration forum (unpaid) or Commercial forum (paid).

But here’s my site. But no, I’m not looking to build another website (unless its a paid gig).

You mean http://themeforest.net/ ?

Mine is at my sig. I’m no web designer and I think it shows but I made a good job without touching HTML using XARA’s website authoring tools. I already use the tool for most 2d art design so I had an idea how to draw on it.

Im going to re-design it soon though, bring it in to line with my game… done a new logo etc

www.evilegg.co.uk - I build sites regularly and would work with you to build yours if you wanted. EvilEgg is lacking in content because I do a better job of websites than I do of unity projects  that and I stopped doing any unity development after my son was born and I’m now at the stage where I can find more time to develop, and so that what I’m now doing - and the site will be updated in due course to promote stuff

My incomplete, but design is complete, website.

Mine is here (the one dedicated to games, at least): Holoville games (did it by myself, but I’m also a web-designer).

About advices, I believe that being clear and simple is the most important thing in a website, and for a games website pictures and videos are also super-fundamental. For pure marketing pages, Vlambeer created a nifty tool to create them and add them to your site: presskit.

Thanks guys!

Just going through them all now.

@Wild Factor. Yes my bad, themeforest is what I was thinking of.

I’m holding off on a dedicated site until my first game launches, so I just use my wordpress blog for everything about my game (link’s in my sig).

I built my own, and it shows. There are services like Weebly out there that do a lot of the heavy lifting for you though if you’re not into rolling your own.

You can find mine at:

I had the site built professionally by these guys, and I would recommend them: http://www.smartflexsolutions.com They got it up and running quickly and know their stuff. They have a bunch of different pricing options depending on what features and level of customization you need and I would say their rates are reasonable for the quality of work they do. I wanted a professional grade site that had some key features (some of which I won’t activate until closer to our product launch such as the user forum), but I don’t have the spare time to code it myself and make it look good while still working on my game.
