Follow-Up Statement from Doozy Entertainment
First off, thank you to everyone who’s reached out since we announced our decision to shut down our products. It’s been a long and difficult journey, and while financial challenges were a big part of why we had to stop, we also want to be upfront about another major factor: the toxicity we faced from the community. Over the years, every communication channel we opened—including YouTube, Discord, and email—was tainted by aggressive and toxic behavior. We tried our best to stay professional and focus on the work, but it took a real toll on us and made it even harder to keep going.
We know this decision feels sudden and left many of you in a tough spot, and we want to do what we can to make it right. We’re going to restore the tutorial videos on YouTube so you can still access them, and we’ll also open-source the code for our products on GitHub. This way, the community can pick up where we left off, maintain the tools, or build on them as needed.
We’re really sorry for how things ended, but the environment just wasn’t sustainable for us—financially or emotionally. To everyone who supported us and saw value in what we created, thank you so much. It means the world to us, and we hope these final steps will help you keep building amazing projects.
