Error CS0234: The type or namespace name 'UI' does not exist in the namespace 'UnityEngine'

Its my first time trying out Unity, but for some reason whenever I import new assets to my project there is always an error. Error CS0234.

Help would be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

I also haven’t touched any code or anything and I have the latest version of Unity

What assets? In what version of Unity? “Latest” does not cut it, since the 2019.1 is latest but we have 2019.3 alpha, which is also latest in some sense. Also when they release a new 2017.LTS, then that will be the latest.

So, what is the asset, what is the code, what is the error exactly?
