What are your favorite youtube channels that are centered around game dev and/or Unity?
Here is my list: Extra Credits - loads of great content about game design in a very fun format. Chrome Fx Films - a large mix of stuff about games from a game dev, also alot of Unity stuff. Thin Matrix - some really cool behind the scenes from an indie dev about his game.
Extra credits is gold. All the other videos I found useful were just random googles on youtube such as creating a menu or FPS.
The only other videos although not youtube I’d recommend is the one’s in unity tutorials namely, ball roll and space invaders. Didn’t bother with the others.
. Even though he doesn’t create games with Unity, he is a great developer with Java and he even made a MMORPG once. He didn’t get enough kickstarter funds.
This guys pretty good. Even though he is notoriously slow at producing new videos. I hear the guy hangs out on the forums when he should be making new content.
I like did you know gaming, even though is not exactly about game dev, but they talk a lot about cancelled games, show some concepts arts, early game plays, developers histories and etc, I find it very inspiring!
I also like Sebastian Lague’s and Brackeys for tutorials!
