Help! Latest Chrome update has killed Unity on Linux!

Above.

All my other Linux apps such as Visual Studio, FlatPak and GIMP load but Unity does not. Is there anything I can do?

And yes I know that officially Unity isn’t supported in Chrome, but up to the day before yesterday it ran under Linux 10, Debian GNU 10.

Moving to Linux forum. Please don’t multipost, I replied to your other post. Debian and ChromeOS are different OS’s

I know that, contrary to popular opinion I am NOT a moron.

Sorry, I don’t quite follow and a little concerned with your reply. Which system are you trying to install on, ChromeOS or Debian? You’ve mentioned both.

Debian, running under Chrome.

Got it, like this https://beebom.com/how-install-debian-buster-chromebook/ . Please keep us posted on your progress, perhaps share screenshots if you run into any issues. The previous discussions around Chromebook support still apply, so your mileage may vary. But some users have got it working apparently https://medium.com/@alexanderhaskins/unity3d-is-running-natively-on-my-chromebook-and-i-couldnt-be-happier-512a0c4b5e32

@RichAllen2023 Just checking in, any progress?

Nope, I’ve been busy with offline stuff all day, you see contrary to popular belief I do actually have an offline life

How are you discerning popular belief? Each time you mention that, it doesn’t apply to me

It’s just that due to the UK lockdowns, I spend most of my time online, either job searching or posting on Facebook, so some people think I don’t have a life beyond the Internet, that did used to be true but now it isn’t.
