Hi everyone,
I’m facing a persistent issue with my app being rejected by the Apple Review team under Guideline 1.3 - Safety - Kids Category. They specifically pointed out concerns regarding the use of Unity Ads in my app, citing that the ads are not all human-reviewed.
In their last rejection, they sent me the following message:
"Regarding 1.3, we were unable to locate in Unity’s ads policy that the ads are all human reviewed.
To resolve this issue, it would be appropriate to clarify where on Unity’s ads policy does it indicate that the ads are all human reviewed."
In my response, I referred to Unity’s content policy (Operate Services Content Policy), which states:
"Unity uses human review for moderation, including:
- A review of each offer and advertiser to ensure compliance with our content policies and procedures prior to distribution, and
- Allowing viewers of the content to report such content.
Teams who are engaged in the content moderation process are trained and review content to ensure compliance with our content policies and procedures. Offers are reviewed prior to distribution and upon receipt of a content report to determine compliance and appropriateness."
Despite this, my app was rejected again with the following message:
"Regarding 1.3, we still find that your publicly documented practices and policies for third-party contextual advertising in your Kids Category app are insufficient.
To resolve this issue please revise your app to remove the third-party contextual advertising."
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue or found a solution to this problem? Is there any additional documentation or a different approach that could satisfy Apple’s requirements regarding human-reviewed ads in the Kids Category?
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
