How have you made videos of your gameplay?

Hey guys,

Without being able to run on the simulator and use screencapture software, or cool apps like SimFinger and PhoneFinger, how have you guys gone about making videos of your gameplay to upload to youtube for marketing and what not?

Are you capturing the game window in the Unity editor?

Have you written something to export per frame renders and assembling it yourselves manually?

Anyone willing to share their method?

Thanks.

I use Snapz Pro to do a video capture from the unity editor.

Sounds easy enough, thanks!

I just checked out Snapz Pro, iShowU HD, Screenflick, and Screen Flow for the Mac. Snapz Pro seemed like the easiest one use for capturing a specific screen rectangle + system audio.

I switched from Snapz Pro to ScreenFlow. It may seem odd at first because it captures your entire display, and you crop it later. It remembers the rectangles of every window and provides snap-to guides for cropping to each.
