How to gain votes to vote for features/requests?

If I remember correctly I only voted once, and that’s it, no more votes for me. How can I earn/gain votes? (talking about feedback.unity3d.com)

You get 10 votes and that’s it. You just have to use those votes very very very carefully.

There is a suggestion on Unity Feedback requesting to allow users to earn more votes: Feedback - 10 Votes per month (+ why current voting system is not ideal)

If you really need to vote more you can create a new account and vote from it.

This is just ... stupid. Maybe let us 'buy' votes with our Karma? oh wait, naah that's a useful feature, forget about it...

This is a nice suggestion. It's very positive way of using the karma earned. At least you can do something constructive with your karma other than getting different moderation rights at UA whose ladder also ends at certain karma earned.

Karma here is like your standard large computer science bookshelf, useful to impress my girlfriends. Wait, I don't have any :( nvm...

I don't see the point of that limit. Like you said one could create another account and vote, no big deal. Do they even respond to those requests? - Like, the most voted feature is a Linux editor. AFAIK they don't even have any plans for that... Most the times it's users who end up implementing those features. It's part of their policy, that's how unity works (a$$et $tore), business devils.

I would say the business equation takes a lot more into account than just the votes. And nobody knows that equation other than Unity people.
