How to know why my asset is declined (Case 539006)

Hello,

I’ve just received a mail that my asset (Case 539006) has been declined! I need a feedback or a reason for which the asset has been declined so I can fix it and resubmit my package again.

Thanks

I would like to join this question.
Few times I got decline reason like

So what to do in this case?

Did you try to contact the asset store by mail? or to resubmit your package?

Yes I try to contact asset store support few times, but I got no answer at all.

In one case I made few correction in package documentation and successfully resubmitted and approved.
In other case I can not even resubmit (server error (-1) package already declined)

I got this great answer too. That’s a great generic message. They could at least tell us exactly what is the problem

Hi all, sorry, we can’t always give more information on why we are not interested in carrying a given asset due to the high volume of submissions we receive. HOWEVER, if there is something broken that can be fixed, or a change that may make the asset suitable for the store, we will let you know. Sometimes, though, there are just occasions where we’re not interested-- usually pertaining to overall quality, aesthetic, presentation, coding style, derivative-ness, or other circumstances where we feel the asset wouldn’t be a good fit even with our feedback… While we’d like to provide more in depth feedback, generally this generic reply is our way of saying “sorry, we’re just not interested in this one…”

Cheers
Caitlyn

I’ve submitted an overhauled version of my SciFi Crates package three days ago (Case 517041) and it was declined two days later (+1 for reviewing it so unusual quick) with the following reply:

Maybe I’m wrong but for me it sounded like the reviewer didn’t even take a look into it, but just saw the old (ugly) version in the store and disabled it because of the reason stated above…

The funny thing is, I got the same message:

“We’ve reviewed the submission and consistent with the criteria considered … blah blah blah.”

And after I have resubmitting the same packed again they told me they liked my packed a LOT, but I had to change the location (folder) and after changing it, it has been accepted. I don’t know how many people are there, but it looks like there is one d@%#head that doesn’t give a f@#% and just rejects the packages without viewing them.

Hey caitlyn, I got this message :frowning:

My game is a complete project of flappy bird and its webplayer demo is here.
i dont know why its rejected :frowning:
