how to make my weapon follow my player hand

hi.
i am building my game on unity3d.
and in my game i got a player that have inventory and items and all…
now i added a weapons inside my scene and i want them to follow my player (if he is running, jumping and all) hand while i am using them.
i added them to my game and i put them in 1 place and when i hit play the player hands full down and the weapon stay up in the air…

i tryed to add an empty object and i place it on my player hand but hwen i hit play its still stay in the air…

i want that the weapons will be always on the player hand no matter what untill i will Unload weapons.

find your players hand bone in the hiearchy and then put the weapon in the bone. it’s called parenting. such as if u made a empty game object and put the weapon in the empty game object, it will follow empty gameobject.

dud i try to do this i add empty gmae object into the player hand but its not followe the hand its stay static in the place i put it in the begining…
