Your 64 bit Windows installation is missing an important service pack patch. Please apply http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976038 to ensure stability

Might still consider switching axes. So if it were to work and I get a nav mesh, what does that mean for my player? Would I still need to understand and create an A* pathfinding algorithm for my enemies? If you don't know thats fine, appreciate your help already :)

Do what is says then

Um, with NavNesh, as long as you use all of their fancy functions and variables, it'll do the pathfinding for you. That's about as much as I know hah.

how can i do it ??

Go to the link you sent press Download Hotfix and follow the installation procedure. If it doesnt help google up this error because there definetely are people who already faced it
