I’ve read you take requests, it’d be great if you could do some HQ zombie boss or any cool zombie design
That blue dragon is stunning. Will make a purchase soon.
Thanks! Of course you can make whatever colors you’d like, pretty much unlimited changes ![]()
We have a “Human Base + Barbarian” set coming out soon. One idea I’m going to play with is including a “zombie” skin material. It should be simple enough to replace all the skin with a different skin, and if it looks good, then you’ll easily be able to make a zombie out of that.
I wouldn’t put a specific “Zombie” pack off the table, however, one different and more stylized and unique than the human base would allow. I’d imagine it’d include body parts that fall off, various states of decay/bone exposure and such.
Some nice dragon eggs there…
Btw how are you going with the dragon rider animations?
They’re in process. they’re being done w/ our upcoming Human animations. Which is actually a giant project, it turns out. Not only for the number of animations, but for the complexity. They need to be even more realistic than normal, since humans are pretty well understood to us, vs something like a Rock monster or a worm
But also we’re animating the clothing to be realistic. And theres a LOT of clothes to choose from (so much, you can’t actually use them all at once, since many cover the same area as others).
Holy Wow Batman! The guys from Gaia took just 5 minutes to create a gorgeous scene using the Dragon! Open the image in a new tab to see it in full screen!!
These Dragons are awesome!!! I want to create an entire world just for them!!
Update with EGGS is now live!
Wow - stunning!
[Edit: Auto Exporter tool is no longer included as it kept breaking with every update. There is a helpful tool that makes it easy to change the entire look of the dragon after only adjusting one section, however. And hopefully when a later Unity version is released, I’ll be able to write a much more robust exporter script.]
Our “Auto Exporter” is a very helpful tool for exporting the textures you create. It automatically exports them and sets them into a new Standard Shader material.
However, Unity had a big bug in 5.2.0 that was fixed in 5.2.3f1. Any of those in between versions won’t work at all – nothing I can do about that since it’s a Unity bug.
The fix, though, changed the behind-the-scenes code and me being not the best coder, needed help to fix it. It’s bene fixed!
There’s a new version that will only work in versions 5.2.3+ to go with the script that only works in versions before 5.2 (but NOT 5.2.0)
If you log in at www.InfinityPBR.com (no purchase required, just log in, if you want to use the script with Substance files that aren’t ours ,go right ahead), you can download the new scripts. I suggest removing the version you’re not using, so that the hot key works without issue (they’re both set to the same hot key).
All of our packages will be updated in due time with it too.
Congratulations to user UltraTM who won our first Registration Contest!!
Each month we’ll be choosing one user at random who registered a package on our site (http://www.InfinityPBR.com) and one who reviewed a package.
UltraTM has chosen to get the Dragon package FOR FREE ![]()
Hi again,
Any idea when the rider animations are coming?
regards
Hopefully soon – the animator just told me she hopes to finish by Christmas, so maybe then.
Downloads now available @ http://www.InfinityPBR.com!
Register your Dragon @ the site, and gain access to pre-exported textures and materials you can import into your project. Speeds up prototyping if you want to get to playing w/ the Dragon before creating your own texture designs!
There are 8 egg designs right now, and the default Dragon, with more to be added when I find the time to make them ![]()
Hi, Just bought your package great btw. I trying to decipher it for my project, i just want to know how get the dragon to breathe fire with the animation?
Sorry for the delay, I got myself sick for a bit! ![]()
In our demo, we use an animation event, which calls a function to start the particle emission at a certain point in the animation, and another event that calls a function to stop the event.
I made a short tutorial video on Animation Events here: [http://www.infinitypbr.com/scripts/hackingAnimationsAndMore.php
In the Dragon demo, the particle is always on, just starts/stops the emission, vs the worm tutorial, which I think instantiates the particle for each use.]
Awesome Dragon! When will the Dragon Rider animations be finished? Would be awesome for using this model as a mount in game.
Just purchased it, was wondering how I would go about registering on your site? I couldnt find a link anywhere on infinitypbr.com
At the very very top there should be a grey bar – did that show up? If not, what browser/OS are you using? It’ll take you here: http://www.infinitypbr.com/login.php
Hopefully the rider animations will be done very very soon! The human in general is taking WAY longer than any of us had expected, but all the “generic” animations for it are done, and the “barbarian” animations (specific to the barbarian clothing / class that the human comes with) are half way done. After that should be the dragon rider animations. So…maybe a couple weeks. (MAYBE…I keep being told “in a few weeks”, and then in a few weeks only a bit is done)
Perfect! I can’t wait!
I will be more than likely using the lower poly version for a mount in my game, so the animations would be helpful.
Your art is beautiful btw, a lot of detail and realism. I did want to put in a suggestion for whenever you finish the Dragon Rider animation, please start making UMA 2 armor sets (Unity Multipurpose Avatar) like for example awesome barbarian armor to match or even potentionally some Dragon Rider Armor :P, just ideas, thanks again awesome work!
UMA has been requested – I’ve not yet had the time to look into it, but it should be feasible, I’d think. I just need more time in the day ![]()
