I’ve been trying whenever I press enter (or any key for that matter) it’ll do what I need it to do. But I don’t know how to get key inputs. How can I do this?
You mean like
Input.GetKey("s")
You can put any letter in for “s”.
Alternatively, Unity’s Input Manager allows you to assign arbitrary names to keys, so you can use something like Input.GetButton(“Jump”) instead of hardcoding values.
what about “enter”?
use unity’s input manager. Plus I know there’s code for it, I just can’t remember it off the top of my head.
I’m using the input manager but I don’t get it.
Well, you use the Input Manager, and add in the enter key, and name i whatever you want, then use Input.GetButton(“WhateverYouNamedIt”). Or Input.GetButtonDown, or Input.GetButtonUp, whichever you prefer.
ok, thanks.
