LevelPlay account pending approval 5+ weeks, no response on Tickets #00902379 & #00906797

Hello Unity / LevelPlay team,

My ironSource / LevelPlay Ads Monetization account has been stuck on “Your account is pending approval” since April 24, 2026 (5+ weeks). I have opened two support tickets and received no response on either:

  • Ticket #00902379 (opened April 24)
  • Ticket #00906797 (follow-up, opened May 15)

Account email: houneteam@gmail.com
App Key: 260bcdfe5

My setup is fully complete:

  • Game “Lumo Idle Park” is live on Google Play and the App Store (Bundle ID com.houneteam.lumoidlepark)
  • LevelPlay SDK fully integrated and shipping in the live build (Android + iOS)
  • Mediation adapters configured (AdMob, Unity Ads, Liftoff/Vungle)
  • Payment and tax information submitted

The app is live with real users, but I cannot serve ads or earn revenue until the account is approved, so monetization is fully blocked. I would strongly prefer to stay on LevelPlay rather than switch providers.

Could someone from the team please check my account status and push the approval? Any update on timeline would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Daniil

Hi there! The approval process was specifically for the ironSource Ads network. LevelPlay itself doesn’t have an approval process so you can get up and running right away with LevelPlay + Unity Ads and any other partner networks you have accounts with. You mentioned AdMob, Unity Ads, and Vungle are configured so you should be all set to go live with LevelPlay mediation. Do you run into issues when you try initializing LevelPlay in your live game?

Hi, thanks for clarifying, that makes sense! Everything is working on my side, no issues at all. LevelPlay initialized correctly and ads are serving fine. Appreciate your help!

So glad to hear! Hope everything is smooth from here on out!

Hi @KMD_Unity,
I am facing the exact same “Pending Approval” issue, but unlike the previous case, it is completely blocking my live monetization. My ironSource account has been stuck in pending status for weeks, and my support tickets have gone unanswered (Main Ticket: #00915280, opened June 24, 2026).
You mentioned that LevelPlay doesn’t have an approval process and we can use partner networks right away. However, in reality, this pending status seems to break the mediation flow:

  • Stuck on Test Ads: Even though I have fully integrated and configured Google AdMob, LevelPlay almost always serves ironSource test ads (which bring $0 revenue) during regular live gameplay. Meanwhile, Unity Ads constantly returns an error.
  • Verification works, but live flow fails: I am 100% sure that AdMob is configured correctly because when I launch the LevelPlay Integration Test Suite UI, I can successfully trigger and see live AdMob ads. Yet, in the normal game flow, LevelPlay fails to mediate properly and falls back to ironSource test ads.
  • Dashboard dependency: In my LevelPlay dashboard, the ironSource network explicitly states “Pending Approval,” which seems to be capping or disrupting the entire mediation setup, as no other network has this restriction.

Сould you please look into my ticket #00915280 or push the ironSource Ads network approval through? My app release and business model transition are completely frozen because of this behavior.
Thank you for your help!

Hi @OlehBur! The approval process is/was only for the ironSource Ads network, which has been sunset, so it really shouldn’t be the thing that’s blocking you here. There could be something else that needs to be adjusted or set though. I will reach out to the team to see who can look at your ticket and situation and hopefully help get this resolved!

One thing you could try in the meantime is: in the dashboard, from the main sidenav, go to LevelPlay > Test Devices. If your device is set to show test ads (shows the option to reset), use the reset button. You can do the same in iS Ads > Test Devices.

Hi @KMD_Unity,
Thank you so much for the quick response and for escalating this to the team! I truly appreciate your help in getting this moving forward. I will look forward to hearing from the support team to figure out what is causing the live ads issue.

Additionally:
I found the absolute smoking gun! While you mentioned that the ironSource Ads network is sunsetted, the ironSource account approval status is actively blocking the core LevelPlay Ad Units functionality.

Please look at the attached screenshot from my LevelPlay > Ad units dashboard. The blue banner explicitly states that my account is still pending approval. Even though I have 3 networks successfully connected to each Ad Unit (and they load perfectly when tested individually via the Test Suite), LevelPlay completely locks the live waterfall and overrides everything with the ironSource test ad fallback because of this account status. This is a backend account issue, not an integration one

Thanks again!

@OlehBur no worries! Hope you can get unblocked soon. If you haven’t already, please try the test device check just in case it might help resolve something quickly.

Thanks for your advice on resetting the test devices in LevelPlay and IronSource. I did that, but after an hour I haven’t noticed any changes, and so far I only see the IronSource test ad, although it may just take longer. I’ll be happy to wait.

Hi again @KMD_Unity! Just a quick update: I dug up an old automated email from 1 January (2026):grimacing: asking to verify my developer email for account approval (originally under Ticket #00877431). I just sent the requested details to their review email, and it auto-created a new active ticket: #00920655. I strongly believe this missing verification step from months ago is exactly what caused the backend block and the mediation fallback to test ads. Thank you again for your help!

Hi @OlehBur ! I’ve been in touch with the support team so fingers crossed this will be something that’s easy to resolve in not too long. I still suspect it doesn’t have to do with the approval process since that approval is not connected to delivery of ads from any other networks, but I’ll watch this space for your update once you’re unblocked and live with ads! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hi @KMD_Unity,
Thank you so much for following up on this!
I understand your point, but I wanted to share a crucial piece of evidence. Please take a look at the attached screenshot from my LevelPlay > Ad Units dashboard. The “Pending Approval” flag actually sits right inside the core LevelPlay section, not just the old ironSource network settings.

Here is the exact technical behavior I’m seeing in the Launch Suite:

  • When I load Unity Ads or Google AdMob individually via the suite, they load perfectly.
  • But the moment I try to load the LevelPlay Ad Unit instance (like the Rewarded or Interstitial setup that bundles the networks together), the system bypasses the live waterfall entirely and only returns the ironSource test ad fallback.

This strongly indicates that the pending account status is globally freezing the LevelPlay ad delivery logic on the backend. I hope this helps the support team pinpoint the exact issue faster!

You’re right that it appears in LevelPlay, because the network and mediation were more tightly linked until recently. It is a source of confusion that we’re working to fix. The message does specifically say “ironSource Ads” though, which is not the same as LevelPlay Mediation. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I could be wrong about your specific situation, so we’ll both stay tuned for more about what the issue could be.

Yes, maybe you are right. I had an idea to somehow remove IronSource from the connected networks (also, as it turned out later, it is impossible to do this in the site interface, unlike other networks), but I was afraid that it would somehow negatively affect further settings. It just feels like after merging, Unity prefers IronSource to display, because for some reason I only see it in the game:sweat_smile:

By the way, if you’re curious, here are a few more observations. I was obsessed with the idea of disabling the Ironsource network in the dashboard, but it’s the only network that can’t be disabled through the interface, so I went to its instances section and deactivated all ad instances. After that, the test Ironsource ad disappeared from the app, but interestingly, the ad from UnityAds—which had been working previously and was a real ad—also disappeared. In other words, even if you try to open it manually via the launcher, it won’t work if the Ironsource instances are disabled. It’s kind of a vicious cycle, to be honest.:face_with_peeking_eye::sweat_smile:

Hi @KMD_Unity, after waiting almost a month, my support ticket was silently closed with a generic boilerplate template saying ‘app doesn’t match our current focus’, containing a broken contact link.
My Google Play listing is currently Paid, which is likely why an automated reviewer flagged it, despite me offering the free ad-supported APK in the ticket. Since ironSource Ads network is sunsetting anyway, I don’t need their demand.

Also, Great news! Today, ironSource automatically disappeared from the list of networks in the Launch Suite (looks like the support team processed the backend changes).
As I suspected, the moment ironSource was removed, the LevelPlay instances immediately started loading clean ads without being blocked by that ironSource test fallback!
Everything is functioning perfectly now across AdMob and Unity Ads. Thank you so much for staying tuned and helping me through this! YAY!

Hi @OlehBur! I was happy to see that the LevelPlay instances started loading ads (instead of the ironSource test ads) once ironSource was removed. Sorry the process of getting things running wasn’t smooth and blocked your progress. We’re doing a lot on our end to catch and fix these kinds of obstacles to improve the experience of getting up and running with LevelPlay, including changes to the legacy ironSource Ads approval prompts. Your messages were informative and your patience was commendable. Thank you and I hope your release and business model transition are smooth from here on out!
